I played a horrible game of basketball the other night.
I got extremely frustrated and made careless mistakes.
That frustration still lingers. 

During the game, because I'm the bigger guy, some random fouls were given to me and other fouls committed on me by others were ignored.  Almost a double standard in refereeing the game.  I'm getting over this fact, but this brought up a question in my mind: Have you received / given special attention due to any personal circumstances?  In life, I can see this happening.  On the court, I see this as biased refereeing. 

Overall, it's only a game, life goes on and I sympathize Shaq.

I don't know about you guys, but I was a die hard fan of SF2 when it came out a while back.  I think, by far, it was one of the best games produced that defies generation gaps and all ages can enjoy.  Well, they are releasing SF4 with newer (upgraded) looking characters.  I must say, they made guile look pretty awesome!

Another genre of games I used to enjoy is the driving games.  I would suck at it, but the best feature I thought was the random turbo boost (not referring to NOS) you would get that would allow you to pass up the other guy and steal first place from him/her.  Only in video games you could do this.. or so I thought.  BUT I was wrong.

The new trend seems to be dawning in the horizon.  Well it may have already dawned a long time ago and now it's midday, but it's finally dawned on Gon's Horizon.  Microblogging, it's labeled.  Every little thing you want to put out on the web of what you are doing... well that's the concept.  Lots of people seemed to have jumped on it.  It's almost taking Facebook's status and injecting it with steriods.  It can be a trendy idea, but to me, I don't see the hype.

There are only a few people I'd want to know every little detail about.  The rest, I like to still be able to chill on a lazy Saturday afternoon and ask, "So, what's new?"

A phrase I love to say to catch up on how life has changed us since we've last met.

Such a simple phrase seems to be dying out with microblogging and the internet.  But don't hate me when I ask, "So, what's new?"  I may not know that you just sprinkled salt on your fries or that you've ordered a Iced Caramel Macchiato, but you can tell me all about how great your fries were, complain how you put on 10 pounds, and how refreshing that Iced Caramel Macchiato was: non-fat, upside down, extra caramel, I'll listen.

I got to be a groomsman for a friend's wedding this past weekend and I must say, it's a lot of work to get married.  I was so drained at the end of the day from all the activities, but the pure joy and happiness of seeing the couple together, tying the knot, becoming Mr. & Mrs. Kim kept me going all day and made it all worth it!
